Saahaj Milk Producer Company providing doorstep AI services by engaging qualified and trained Mobile AI Technicians (MAIT) in its Project area to enhance productivity of bovines on a sustainable basis. As producers company is also the End Implementing Agency adding AI services would ensure key technical input services are provided at the doorstep of the producers in a synergistic manner.
  • The Milk procurement villages would be grouped into 5-7 villages depending on breedable population and proximity and one of the key villages in the group would be identified for creation of an AI center and a Qualified and trained AI Technician will be positioned to provide door step service in the coverage villages.
  • Saahaj Milk Producer Company set up AI center hiring the premises and will train and position MAITs by signing a franchisee agreement with them to work exclusively for the project.
  • A Veterinary Executive will be positioned for every 20 -25 MAITs to provide technical support by way of conducting infertility camps, farmers meeting, ascertain compliance of SOP by MAITs, monitor conception rate, etc.
  • The entire Project area of 10 districts will be divided into four Clusters comprising 150 MAITs. One breeding specialist will be placed in each cluster, who will be responsible for conducting periodic quality audit of operations, INAPH data management, bull rotation plan, ascertain training needs of AI Technicians and organize need based training program and would be responsible for overall quality of service in the cluster.
