Dairy Demonstration Farm (DDF)
The main objective of Dairy Demonstration Farm project is to assist dairy farmers to adopt good management practices and more focus on disease prevention rather than veterinary treatment expenses.
The Aim to encourage the farmers to use high yielding scientific methods to provide a demonstration of dairy farming.
The key interventions of projects are as follows during the Financial Year 2019-20:

- Controlling Mastitis-By CMT & Teat Dip Solution.
- Use EVM (Ethno Veterinary Medicines) for treatment.

- Ration Balancing Programme & AI services
- Deworming & Vaccination
- Heat Stress Management
- Care of Calf & Heifer
- Heat Detection & Calving (Breeding Calendar)
- Soil, water, Fodder & Manure Resource Management.
- Silage preparation
- Vermi compost
- Assessment of farm economics through maintaining Farm.
- Record Book.
